Our founder, Kent Ambrose, started his journey in the HVAC industry in 1977, working as an installation helper for his father's company. Over the next ten years, he worked his way up, attending numerous air conditioning, heating, and duct design schools, as well as college at East Texas State University, UT Arlington, and the University of Arkansas. He eventually received his air conditioning and heating license in Arkansas and ran his own company for the next two decades.

Kent founded American Conservation & Air with a mission to provide top-quality services to homeowners in the Austin area. He saw an opportunity to not only help people save money on their energy bills but also to make a positive impact on the environment. By focusing on whole-house approaches to insulation and weatherization, we help homeowners reduce energy waste and save money on their heating and cooling costs.
