Our Story

From humble beginnings in a chicken coop in 1976, Rodolfo's Pizzeria & Restaurant has grown into a beloved South Plainfield institution. Founded by Armando Coppola, Rodolfo's quickly gained a reputation for serving up delicious and authentic Italian fare. For 15 years, Armando poured his heart and soul into running the family business, cultivating loyal customers and forming lasting relationships with hardworking employees like the Valentino brothers, Vinny & Frank. As the restaurant flourished, it became evident that the next generation would carry on the legacy. In 1991, the Valentino brothers stepped in, inheriting the passion for quality food and exceptional service that defined Rodolfo's. Over the next 17 years, they alongside their family, continued to delight locals with their culinary creations and warm atmosphere, cementing Rodolfo's place as a cherished part of the community.

In 2007, the Scotto family acquired Rodolfo's, bringing their own family-oriented values and dedication to excellence. Building on the strong foundation laid by previous generations, the Scotto family has ensured that Rodolfo's remains true to its original spirit while embracing innovation and growth.

Today, Rodolfo's stands proudly as a thriving restaurant, serving up mouthwatering pizzas, classic Italian dishes, and a welcoming ambiance to all who walk through our doors. We are proud to be a part of the South Plainfield community and look forward to continuing to serve generations to come.
