Blasick Orthopedics is a unique and special place where we prioritize serving God by serving people, and we strive to do it the right way - God's way. Our journey began when Dr. Blasick and his family moved to the Waco area in 2016. After completing his residency training program, Dr. Blasick started with Advent Orthopedics in November 2016. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, Advent Orthopedics closed in 2018, and Dr. Blasick transitioned to Elite Sports Medicine. Unfortunately, Elite Sports also closed at the end of 2019. Despite these challenges, Dr. Blasick and his wife were convinced that God was leading them to open a stand-alone orthopedics practice. And so, Blasick Orthopedics was born, with a mission to serve the city of Waco and the surrounding communities with the utmost care and dedication. Our core values are centered around putting God and people first, followed by family, patients, and staff. We believe that as each has received a gift, they should use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace.

Our Services

At Blasick Orthopedics, we offer a comprehensive range of full-service general orthopedics. Our services include total joint replacements of shoulders, hips, and knees, as well as sports medicine procedures like arthroscopy of the shoulder and knee. Additionally, we perform basic hand procedures such as carpal tunnel releases, trigger finger releases, and base of the thumb replacements. Our expertise also extends to treating fractures, tendon and ligament tears, and a host of other conditions within the orthopedics practice. Our superior physical therapy department is designed to help patients return to their lives safely, appropriately, and efficiently. Our physical therapists can treat patients post-operatively for the procedures performed by us, as well as those performed by any orthopedist in the area. It's worth noting that surgery is not a prerequisite to utilizing our therapy services. Our physical therapy department is equipped to treat a wide range of conditions, including non-operative arthritides, back and neck pain, sports injuries, and hand conditions.
