Practice Credibility and Staff
Boyd Family Dentistry has a reputation for being a wonderful family dentist with a kind and caring doctor and staff. They take their time, are thorough, and really care about their patients. The entire practice team is wonderful, making everyone feel heard and understood.
Billing Issues
However, one reviewer had a negative experience with the billing process. They were told they had a preferred provider with their insurance company, but upon examination and cleaning, the claim was denied because Boyd Family Dentistry was no longer a preferred provider. The bill showed some reductions, but it was still significant, and the reviewer felt misled. They suggested adjusting the bill, but received no response and had to pay the full amount.

On the other hand, several reviewers praised Dr. Boyd and his staff for their compassionate, caring, and professional attitude. They made a bad experience more bearable, scheduled appointments immediately, and treated patients like friends.
Office Environment and Services
The office is clean, warm, and welcoming, with friendly staff who are always smiling. Dr. Boyd is gentle, good at his work, and one of the few dentists in the area who can do most root canals in-office. His assistants are well-trained and anticipate his needs. The practice also offers exceptional crown work, and the staff is knowledgeable and cheerful.
