Able Electric Service

Able Electric Service, Inc. is a dedicated electrical contractor that has been serving the Dallas Metroplex since its inception in 1963. Founded by Otis Thompson, the company has grown from a one-man operation to a team of over 80 field employees, specializing in commercial and industrial projects. Despite its growth, the company remains committed to 100% customer satisfaction. Otis Thompson passed away in January 2017, leaving Brian Dean, a longtime business partner since 1988, to carry on the company. Brian is now phasing out of everyday operations, entrusting his two daughters, Madison and Meredith, to continue the legacy.

Our Services

We specialize in a wide range of projects, including hotels, manufacturing and industrial facilities, schools, shopping centers, healthcare facilities, marinas, offices, warehouses, restaurants, and municipal buildings. Our team is experienced in industrial control systems, voice/data/video cabling, and design/build work with CAD and electrical engineering capabilities. We take pride in our ability to handle projects of varying sizes, from small renovations to large-scale developments.

Meet the Team

Our team is comprised of experienced professionals, including Madison and Meredith Dean, who have taken over as the new leadership after their father's retirement. Brian Dean, the current CEO, has been with the company since 1988 and has a wealth of experience in the electrical contracting business. Gary Peak, our Chief Estimator and Vice President, has been with the company since 2006 and brings a wealth of knowledge in project estimation and management. Chuck Dean, a licensed Master Electrician, has also been with the company for many years and is experienced in various aspects of electrical contracting.
