We also specialize in sports medicine, providing treatment for musculoskeletal injuries, management of medical problems in athletes, education on injury prevention and performance enhancement, and pre-participation screenings and physical exams.

Our sports medicine services include treatment of acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, management of medical problems in athletes, education regarding injury prevention and performance enhancement, and pre-participation screenings and physical exams. Dr. Parikh, who is Fellowship trained in Sports Medicine, serves as faculty for Lone Star Sports Medicine Center and has written numerous articles in sports medicine journals. He is dedicated to helping athletes of all levels achieve optimal health and performance.

Education and Expertise

Dr. Parikh's extensive education and training in sports medicine, biomedical research, and family medicine enable him to provide comprehensive care. He has completed his residency in Family Medicine and has been board certified in Family Practice. His research experience includes developing rapid Immunoassays techniques for detecting Africanized killer bees and insect contamination in grains, as well as analyzing the phagocytic ability of macrophages against Mycobacterium Leprae and Mycobacterium Bovis under UVB radiation.

Community Involvement

We are committed to giving back to the community through volunteer services. Dr. Parikh has participated in various events, including being a team physician for Fort Worth Dunbar High School Football and assisting in sports medicine venue coverage for USA Rugby and USBL-Fort Worth Rimrockers.
