• Comprehensive Eye Exams: We provide thorough eye exams for adults and children, including a glasses prescription, contact lenses if desired, and a full assessment of eye health.
• Contact Lens Fittings & Evaluations: Our doctors will prescribe the best contact lenses for your needs, including astigmatism, colored contacts, specialty gas permeable, scleral, and medically necessary contact lenses.
• Pediatric & InfantSEE Care: We provide gentle, friendly eye care for babies and kids starting at 6 months of age, highly recommending regular exams to ensure good eye health from an early age.
• Ocular Disease & Dry Eye Management: Our attentive and thorough doctors identify and treat ocular conditions such as dry eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts, performing visual field testing, retinal photography, prescribing medications, and referring as needed.
• LASIK & Cataract Surgery Consultations: Our doctors are happy to discuss refractive surgery options such as LASIK with you and refer you to a trusted surgeon for a full evaluation, as well as evaluate cataracts and determine when it is time to refer to an ophthalmologist for removal.
• Urgent Eye Infection & Minor Eye Injury Care: We are happy to schedule you the same day for an evaluation if you are experiencing a red eye, eye pain or irritation, loss of vision, or an eye injury.

Our team consists of highly qualified and experienced optometrists, including Dr. Jill Smith, OD, who has over 25 years of experience in Kansas City, and Dr. Caroline Mendus, OD, who joined our team in 2021. Both doctors are committed to providing exceptional care and are dedicated to ensuring the eye health and well-being of our patients.

Eyeglasses and Optical Services

Our expert opticians are eager to assist you in choosing the appropriate frame for your prescription from our wide selection of popular brands and styles. You can bring your glasses in at any time if they are fitting loosely for an adjustment or repair.

Insurance and Payment

We accept a wide range of vision insurance plans, including VSP (Vision Service Plan), Eyemed, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, Avesis, Spectera, and NVA (National Vision Administrators). We also accept most major medical insurance plans for your medical eye care needs. Coverage is dependent on the individual plan, and we recommend contacting your eye insurance company for exact coverage and cost calculations prior to your visit.
