The funeral home, originally known as Staton Funeral Home, and later as Lionel Whidbee Funeral Home, has been a cornerstone of support and guidance for families during their most challenging times. In 2007, Mr. Shawn E. Lea, a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, purchased the business in Scotland Neck and carried on the legacy of compassionate care. In 2012, the name was changed to Shawn Lea Funeral Home, reflecting the new leadership and commitment to upholding the highest standards of service. In 2014, a second location was opened in Littleton, NC, further expanding the funeral home's reach and dedication to the community.
