Our Story

Chef Craig's Catering was founded in 1994 by Craig and Linnea Bullert, who were both born and raised in the Arlington, Minnesota area. The couple had a strong desire to establish their business in their hometown community, where they could use their culinary skills to make a difference. Craig developed his love for cooking at a young age, thanks to his parents. His father was a cook in the US Army, and his mother was a farmer's wife who cooked every meal from scratch for their family of eight. After completing the Culinary Arts program at Hennepin Technical College, Craig worked for various restaurants and supper clubs before buying a local cafe and catering business.

Over the years, Chef Craig's Catering has evolved into one of southern Minnesota's most respected and appreciated catering companies, serving gatherings of 25-3,000 guests. We specialize in elaborate or simple weddings, corporate picnics and retreats, galas, anniversaries, fundraisers, and charity events. Our staff consists of family members, including brothers, sisters, in-laws, aunts, nieces, nephews, and all four of Craig and Linnea's children. Those who are not related are quickly made to feel part of the family, as we believe in treating our clients with the same warmth and care.
