The Nursery Division was introduced in 1982, initially operating from the back yard of the founders' home. The Irrigation Division was established in 1984, marking the beginning of the company's expansion into different areas of expertise. Throughout the years, the company has experienced growth, including the production of over 350 acres of nursery crops.

Peggy and Danny continue to be active in the day-to-day operations of the business. They have successfully navigated the challenges faced by the company, including flooding due to Hurricane Fran in 1996 and Hurricane Floyd in 1999. These experiences led to the relocation of the office and nursery to its current location at 380 Washington Street, Pikeville, North Carolina, in 2000.
