At NECA Nebraska Chapter, we are dedicated to promoting the services and quality work of our members. Our members are leaders in sustainable construction practices, green energy systems, climate control, and communication networks. We strive to provide a platform for electrical contracting firms and associate members to advance best practices and policies for the success of the electrical industry.

Our Mission

Our mission is to promote the services and quality work of our members, while providing a voice in legislative and regulatory affairs to ensure that members and their employees can work safely and profitably under the laws and regulations governing our industry. We aim to support our members in achieving their objectives, including meeting manpower needs, ensuring harmonious labor-management partnerships, and influencing standards and codes affecting our industry.

Our Services

We offer a range of services to our members, including continuing education in business management techniques, technical training, and keeping them current in the ever-changing technology of our industry and new products and services. Our contractor members in Nebraska represent over 40 contractors in Omaha and 12 contractors in Lincoln, specializing in power plants, medical centers, data centers, large manufacturers, and large high-rise offices. We also provide a platform for our members to network and collaborate, ensuring that they stay ahead of the curve in the electrical industry.

Our Partnerships

We have enjoyed a long partnership with the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers). Our partnership in the Nebraska Chapter involves IBEW Local Union #265 (Lincoln) and IBEW Local Union #22 (Omaha). We believe that this partnership is essential in promoting the interests of our members and advancing the electrical industry as a whole.
