Our boutique salon is led by our experienced and friendly professionals who have undergone the most advanced training in their field. From high volume curly hair to sleek precision cuts, we specialize in color, achieving both natural and high fashion results. We understand the importance of maintaining optimal hair health, which is why we offer the latest treatments to keep you looking beautiful.

Our Story

The vision to open a multi-purpose space containing both a salon and art gallery was brought to life by our owner, Blake Elliot Henschel. Inspired by the art galleries of New York, Blake sought to bring that experience to the heart of Deland. The ambiance of Blake Elliot Salon and Gallery reflects many facets of Blake's personality - attention to details, an appreciation of aesthetics, and a love of community.

The Salon

Our salon is more than just a place to get a haircut. It's a space where you can unwind, relax, and experience the latest in hair care techniques. Our prices are competitive, starting at $30 for a men's cut, $40 for a women's wet cut, and $50 for a women's cut and style. We also offer a range of color services, including retouches, full highlights, partial highlights, balayage, and more.

We understand that sometimes schedules change, which is why we request at least 24 hours notice when canceling or rescheduling your appointment. A credit card is required to hold your appointment, and appointments canceled within 24 hours or for which clients are a "No-Show" for will incur a charge of 50% of the service amount.

The Gallery

Our white cube gallery features the original work of talented local artists. Year-round, our multifunctional space displays the original works of some of DeLand's finest artists, and on occasion the salon transforms into a beautiful white cube gallery.
