Our story began when Isaiah Wasserstrom founded his real estate firm, building 131 Joralemon Street in Brooklyn, a property we still own and manage today, as well as several buildings in the Bronx.

Over the years, our company has grown and evolved, with each generation adding their unique skills and experiences to the mix. In 1960, Joseph Wasserstrom, Isaiah's son, joined the business, bringing with him a background in insurance. He was later joined by two partners, Harvey Berkowitz, a certified public accountant, and Julian Jawitz, a real estate attorney, who complemented Joseph's property management expertise.

In 1978, Martin J. Hollander, Joseph's son-in-law, brought his extensive experience in managing and leasing both residential and commercial properties to the table. He established Marin as a true property management company in 1979 and has been instrumental in growing the business into what it is today.

Today, Marin Management is one of the most respected real estate management firms in New York, with a team of professionals who are among the most talented in the industry. Our president, Martin Hollander, along with his two sons, continues to lead the company with the same dedication and commitment to integrity that has guided us since our inception.
