Building for the Future, One Church at a Time.
Specializing in Religious Architecture since 1951, Barker, Cunningham, Barrington Architects provide clients with personalized service backed by half a century of experience. The firm has provided services for over 900 churches and continues to grow and integrate unique designs into every project. Religious Architecture is our business. We average working for up to twenty-five new churches each year. Since it takes an average of over three and half years from the first meeting, through the fund raising, the design, the planning and the construction to reach that first Sunday in a new facility, we have had over fifty projects active at once. Our designs are directed by the needs and wants of our clients. Each church is unique as any individual person, and their needs are just as individual. Every project is designed and prepared for that church only.
Our firm is proud of the experience and talent each of our architects possesses and incorporates into all phases of a project. Understanding that each church is unique in its needs and wants, our architects customize designs down to the smallest detail. Each church is a member of the community it serves, and each congregation ministers to the specific and often changing needs of that community. We are equally aware that a denominational affiliation does not stereotype a church. Our architects work hand in hand with the church to develop buildings that are the tools which allow it to provide the ministries its community needs.
