Marin GreenPlay Camp is Marin County's favorite Earth-friendly summer camp, offering a unique blend of science-based, cutting-edge, and place-based experiences in nature. For over 15 years, our guides have been helping parents teach kids their "ecological address, " that keen sense of the place where they live that will encourage them to cherish it as adults.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide developmentally appropriate activities that meet kids where they are, from kindergarten to high school age. We believe that experiences in nature can meet kids where they are developmentally, and our guides are dedicated to providing the right lesson and game at the right time in the life of your child.

Our Approach

We offer a range of programs, including our flagship summer camp, youth leaders program, and service projects that focus on native plant restoration, beach cleanups, citizen science, and more. Our approach is centered around the idea that "People Protect What They Love" - Jacques Cousteau, and we strive to instill a sense of responsibility and stewardship in our campers.

Our Guides

Our guides are nature people and kid people, with college degrees or equivalent life experiences. We pay them among the highest wages in the day camp sector, and they are dedicated to providing an unforgettable experience for your child. Our guides are passionate about sharing their love of nature with your child, and they are committed to ensuring that every child has a fun and educational experience.

Our Setting

Marin County, California is our playground, and we are fortunate to have access to some of the most beautiful and diverse landscapes in the country. From green meadows to rocky shorelines, pristine beaches to lovely lagoons, and shady creeks to mountain trails, we have the perfect setting for your child to explore and learn.

We work closely with government, non-profit, and private land stewards to ensure that our service projects have a positive impact on the environment. We believe that by working together, we can make a difference and leave the places we explore "better than the way we found them."
