Because pain should not get in the way of your life goals.

At Tibialis Massage, we understand that pain is not just a nuisance, but a signal that something in your body is out of balance. That's why we're dedicated to providing top-notch Clinical, Orthopedic, Sports, and Therapeutic Massage services to help you regain balance and live a life free from chronic muscle pain.

Our founder, Mary Bai, has over 14,000 clinical hours of experience in assessing and resolving issues with complicated biomechanics that hinder peak performance or simply enjoying favorite activities without pain. With licenses in Arizona and California, and Board Certification through NCBTMB, Mary has been a Professional Member of the American Massage Therapy Association since 2003.

Before starting her career in massage, Mary worked at Apple Computer in International Distribution for 11.5 years, including stints in Dublin, Ireland, and Tokyo, Japan. This diverse background has equipped her with the ability to understand and address a wide range of needs and issues that our clients face.

Mary has undergone extensive education and training in various massage techniques and modalities, including Sports Massage, Advanced Neck Work, Chair Massage, Orthopedic Massage, Neuromuscular therapy, Ayurvedic Massage, and more. She has also participated in workshops such as Chi Running with Danny Dreyer, The Science of a Calmed Mind with Kelly McGonigal, PhD, from Stanford University, and Rolfing Clinic Client with Michael Murphy.

Our Services

At Tibialis Massage, we offer a variety of services designed to address different needs and issues. Whether you're an athlete looking to improve performance, someone dealing with chronic pain, or simply seeking relaxation and stress relief, we have a service tailored for you.

Our Clinical Massage services focus on addressing specific pain and discomfort areas, using techniques such as Deep Tissue, Sports, and Structural Bodywork to create a higher degree of muscle function, increased muscle balance, and greater awareness of movement patterns that cause discomfort.

Orthopedic Massage is another key service we offer, providing benefits through an orthopedic assessment of injury conditions, an understanding of the physiology of the injured tissue, and suggestions for improvements to reduce the risk of recurrence.

Sports Massage is designed for athletes and individuals who engage in regular physical activity. This service helps improve flexibility, reduces muscle soreness, promotes faster recovery from injuries, and enhances athletic performance.

Therapeutic Massage is perfect for those seeking relaxation, stress relief, and overall well-being. This service uses various techniques to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension, and improve circulation.
