Empowering Chiropractors to Provide Excellence in Patient Care
The American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Board (ACRB) was established in November 1995 with the primary objective of enhancing the education and training of Chiropractors. Our commitment is to ensure a high standard of excellence in the field of Chiropractic medicine through a rigorous certification process. This process provides assurance to both the physician and their patients of a specific standard of expertise. Our Board consists of members who have successfully completed the program, passed examinations, published research, and have been recommended by participating Chiropractic Colleges or Universities.
As part of our mission, the ACRB reviews the educational backgrounds of candidates, their relevant work experience, prerequisites for testing, individual histories of past or present felonies or convictions, examination performance, licensure, practice requirements for rehabilitation, and continual competency efforts. We establish and maintain tests and item pools from criteria-referenced content, set cut scores for pass or fail, maintain a register for active and inactive status for all ACRB level and Diplomate doctors, and certify Diplomates for applicants who have successfully completed ACRB levels, publication, and non-written requirements.
Services Offered by the ACRB
At the ACRB, we offer a variety of services aimed at advancing the field of Chiropractic medicine, improving patient care, and promoting the professional growth of Chiropractors. Our services include:

3. Recertification: We offer a recertification program to ensure that Chiropractors maintain their expertise and continue to meet the high standards of the ACRB. This program includes periodic assessments and the requirement to complete continuing education courses.
4. Annual Conference: We host an annual conference that brings together Chiropractors from across the country. This event provides an opportunity for professionals to network, share knowledge, and learn about the latest advancements in the field.
5. Find a Provider: We maintain an active registry of certified Chiropractors, making it easy for patients to find a provider in their area. Our registry includes providers who have met the high standards of the ACRB and are committed to providing a higher level of care.
