Our Story

Our story began in February 1987, when our founder, Jim Keith, lost his grandfather, Paul C. Duff. The care and support provided by Tim McCracken, a funeral director from McCracken Funeral Home, had a profound impact on Jim's life. This experience sparked a desire to provide the same level of care and compassion to families who are grieving the loss of a loved one.

After completing mortuary school at the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, Jim gained valuable experience working for various funeral homes in Pennsylvania and Delaware. Eventually, he and his family relocated to Hilton Head, South Carolina, where we renovated a vacant building to create our funeral home.
