Modoc Veterinary Center is a leading veterinary service provider based in Alturas, CA. Established in 1947, we have been serving the Modoc County area for over seven decades, evolving from a one-doctor practice to a multi-doctor veterinary hospital. Our Services

At Modoc Veterinary Center, we offer a wide range of services for small animals, horses, and livestock. Our clinical services include examinations, vaccinations, health screens, and in-house laboratory testing, along with state-of-the-art radiograph technology. We perform routine surgical procedures, extensive dentistry, and certain orthopedic repairs from Tuesday through Friday. Additionally, we offer special procedures such as artificial insemination and ultrasound, and we do our best to accommodate your busy schedule.

Small Animal Services

Our small animal services cater to dogs, cats, and other small pets. We offer wellness exams, microchipping, vaccinations, and dental care, among other services. Our team of experienced veterinarians and staff are committed to providing compassionate care to your furry friends, ensuring that they are healthy and happy.

Equine Services

Our equine services cater to horses of all ages and breeds. We offer routine and emergency care, including vaccinations, dental care, and lameness exams. Our state-of-the-art radiograph technology allows us to diagnose and treat equine injuries and diseases with precision and accuracy.

Bovine Services
