At D'Sol Optical, we pride ourselves on providing an elevated level of eye care to the Southern Indiana area. Our story began in 2012 when Dr. Nicholas P. Hawker and Mildred Camargo Caballero opened their practice in Charlestown, Indiana. With a passion for delivering exceptional service and a commitment to excellence, they moved their practice to its current location in Jeffersonville in 2015. Since then, they have built a beautiful office designed by Dr. Hawker himself, creating a unique and welcoming environment for their patients.

Our Services

We offer a comprehensive range of services designed to meet your eye care needs. From routine eye exams to medical care for conditions such as glaucoma, dry eye, and macular degeneration, we are committed to providing exceptional care. Our services also include contact lens care, including monthly use, one-day disposable, rigid gas permeable, and hybrid lenses. Additionally, we offer ocular trauma and triage services for red eye infections, swollen or itchy eyes, lid bumps, and lumps, as well as eye injuries and foreign body removal.

Meet Our Doctor

Dr. Nicholas P. Hawker, our founder and lead optometrist, brings a unique blend of skills and experience to his practice. With a background in architecture, Dr. Hawker combines his design expertise with his passion for optometry, creating a truly exceptional patient experience. He holds a Doctor of Optometry and Bachelor of Vision Science degrees from NOVA Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
