Lakes Region Community College

Lakes Region Community College (LRCC) is a dynamic, innovative community college located in the heart of New Hampshire's Lakes Region. Established in 1967, LRCC has been providing high-quality, affordable education to students from the Lakes Region and beyond for over 50 years. Our college offers more than 50 college degree and certificate programs, including Nursing, LNA, Electrical, Automotive, General Studies, Culinary, and many others. Our programs are designed to prepare students for great careers in a variety of fields, and our experienced faculty are dedicated to providing hands-on training that will prepare students for success in the real world.

History of LRCC

Lakes Region Community College was founded in 1967 as a part of the New Hampshire community college system. The college was originally located in a temporary facility in downtown Laconia, but it quickly outgrew that space and moved to its current location on Belmont Road in 1971. Over the years, LRCC has grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of its students and the community. Today, LRCC is a thriving community college that serves thousands of students each year.
