Meet Our Doctors

*Dr. Lindsey Pierce, Practice Owner*

Dr. Lindsey Pierce, a Columbus, Mississippi native, established Best Friends Animal Hospital in February 2017. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal & Dairy Sciences from Mississippi State University before pursuing her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Pierce, her husband Ben, and their three children, Emma Jane, Mallen, and Asher, share their home with two dogs, Tucker and Charley, and three cats, Chase, Johnny, and June.

*Dr. Amanda Stowers*

Dr. Amanda Stowers, a native of the Mississippi delta, grew up on a row crop and catfish farm in Inverness, Ms. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Dairy Sciences from Mississippi State University before pursuing her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Stowers has practiced veterinary medicine in Aiken, SC for over three years and Starkville, Ms for over four years. She shares her life with her husband (Patrick), son (Blane), and another son on the way. They have two dogs, Gus and Ruby Sue, and a cat named Paisley.
