Our History

Birchfield Nurseries was founded in 1950 by Ralph McGuire, who had a passion for plants and propagation. Over the years, we have grown to become one of the leading nursery and landscape services in Northern Wisconsin, dedicated to delivering quality products and services to our customers. Today, we employ 18 people and grow over 30,000 shrubs and trees, continuing to strive for excellence in everything we do.
