Our History

Loggers Insurance Agency has a rich history that dates back to 1991 when the Michigan Association of Timbermen formed a holding company called TIMSER, Inc. This entity formed Forest Insurance Center Agency, Inc, which later purchased Mauck Insurance Agency, Inc in 2004. In 2008, the Great Lakes Timber Professionals purchased 25% of Mauck Insurance Agency stock, and in 2014, Mauck Insurance Agency purchased the assets of Loggers Insurance Agency, Inc. and formed Loggers Insurance Agency II, LLC. Today, we are a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mauck Insurance Agency, Inc. and are governed by members of the forest products industry.
