California Veterinary Clinic

At the California Veterinary Clinic, we are committed to delivering exceptional care to both small and large animals. Our dedicated team, led by Dr. Mark Oerly and Dr. Matt Oerly, along with Dr. Kaitlyn Mouse, has over 38 years of combined experience in providing comprehensive veterinary services. Since our inception in 1979, we have evolved to meet the growing needs of our community, now offering a wide range of services including wellness exams, surgery, dental care, radiology, pharmacy, and lab services for small animals. Additionally, we provide services for large animals, including cattle, horses, small ruminants, and swine, with on-site farm calls and haul-in facilities available.

Our History

The clinic was founded by Dr. Roger Borgmeyer and his wife Peggy in 1979. Dr. Mark Oerly joined the clinic in 1988 and purchased it in 2021. Dr. Kaitlyn Mouse and Dr. Matt Oerly, both graduates of the University of Missouri School of Veterinary Medicine, have since joined the team. With over 80 years of combined experience among the staff, we are proud to serve as trusted veterinarians in California, Missouri.

Services Offered

Our clinic offers a variety of services including wellness exams, vaccinations, routine and advanced surgical procedures, diagnostic workups, nutritional guidance, and healthcare consultations for small animals. For large animals, we provide herd work, preventative medicine, reproductive, nutrition, and diagnostic consultations. We also carry a full range of small animal products and large animal herd health supplies, including ADM products.

When you visit our clinic, you can expect to receive top-notch care from our experienced veterinarians and staff. We encourage you to call us at (573) 796-3168 to schedule an appointment for your small or large animals. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, with Saturday hours from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. We are closed on Sunday and holidays.
