Our Mission and History

At Family Counseling and Shelter Services (FCSS), our mission is to provide essential programs and services that promote emotional well-being and support the success of our community, while also protecting and empowering survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Founded in 1966, FCSS has a rich history of dedication to serving the community's mental health, domestic violence, and sexual assault needs.

Our Services

We offer a range of services to support individuals and families in need. Our counseling programs provide professional and compassionate guidance to help individuals overcome challenges and improve their mental health. Our Sunrise House and Shelter offer a safe haven for survivors of domestic violence, providing a supportive environment to rebuild and establish a new life. Our Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse Services offer assistance to those affected by these issues, including counseling, advocacy, and support.
