Teri Sandison is a renowned artist and photographer, renowned for her captivating images of ancient sacred sites and her unique perspective on the relationship between nature and spirituality. Her passion for photography began in her freshman year of college, when she was invited to visit historic San Miguel de Allende in Mexico. Teri's artistic journey began at the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied ceramics and painting under the guidance of renowned artist Peter Voulkos. She later continued her education at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she earned a degree in fine arts with an emphasis in painting and drawing. Her love for Asian aesthetics was fostered by the Japanese sculptor Morio Shinoda at UCLA. Teri also received advanced training in photography at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.

Throughout her career, Teri has been driven by her desire to capture the essence of ancient sacred sites and their connection to nature and spirituality. Her work is characterized by its unique blend of artistic composition, technical expertise, and deep understanding of the cultural and historical context of each site.
