Welcome to Fields Child Care, a family-owned and operated business providing quality child care to the Tuscaloosa area since 1983. Our centers are State Licensed and conveniently located, offering a nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. We believe that all children learn best through play and that one of the greatest gifts we can give a child is a love for learning. Our daily activities include singing, dancing, reading, and free play, ensuring a well-rounded experience for each child. We also believe that children are a gift from God and strive to meet their physical and emotional needs as they mature and develop.

Our Services

At Fields Child Care, we pride ourselves on providing a comprehensive child care experience. We offer hot, healthy, nutritious meals throughout the day, free of charge, to ensure healthy eating habits. Our qualified, trained, and loving teachers support and aid in the development of every child, from infants to preschoolers. We provide a clean, safe, and happy environment filled with age-appropriate toys and equipment, encouraging exploration and learning in various subjects like science, math, music, language, and technology.

What to Expect

Our centers are open from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm, during which time children receive a nutritious breakfast, hearty lunch, and an afternoon snack. Each meal is hand prepared by a qualified cook. We also have a wide variety of fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, and whole grain breads included in our menus. Our goal is to see that each child leaves our center prepared for kindergarten and eager to learn more about the world.
