Our History

Ben Thomas, a veteran of World War I, returned to LeSeur, Minnesota, and considered opening a veterinary practice. However, his in-laws encouraged him to explore the field of funeral service. Inspired by his wife's family's involvement in a prominent funeral home in the Twin Cities, Ben Thomas pursued his embalming certificate and founded Thomas Family Funeral Home in 1926.
