Dr. Ashley Ritchie, a Chillicothe native, started Chillicothe Eye Care to bring quality eye care back to her hometown. With over a decade of experience, Dr. Ritchie has a passion for helping patients achieve optimal eye health. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge gained from private practice experience in both Raleigh, North Carolina, and West Palm Beach, Florida. Her commitment to patient care stems from her own experiences with congenital eye problems in her childhood and a hereditary eye condition in her family, which highlighted the profound impact vision has on a person's life. Chillicothe Eye Care serves as a testament to her dedication to providing the same compassionate care she received to the community she calls home. Dr. Ritchie has built upon the strong foundation laid by Dr. Jim Schaefer, whom she proudly took over as the primary provider after his retirement in 2021.
