Eastminster Preschool is a reputable early childhood education institution that has been serving the community for over 45 years. Established in 1977, the school has been dedicated to providing a comprehensive form of learning that fosters the holistic development of children. Our preschool is a division of Eastminster Presbyterian Church, and we work closely with the church and the local community to create a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow.

At Eastminster Preschool, we understand the importance of providing a solid foundation for your child's education. We have a professionally trained and motivated staff that works closely with parents and families to ensure that each child receives the best possible education. Our mission is to foster a lifelong love of learning in children, and we achieve this through hands-on experiences, student-directed activities, and programs that allow for the education of the whole child: socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually, and spiritually.

Our amazing teachers and aides are dedicated to reaching out to each student and helping them grow, learn, and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. We believe that learning should be fun and exciting, and our staff is passionate about instilling a love of learning in each child. Our low teacher-to-student ratios ensure that each child receives individualized attention and support.

Our curriculum is based on the Pennsylvania Learning Standards for Early Childhood Education, and we incorporate best practices in early childhood education to ensure that each child receives a high-quality education.

Eastminster Preschool also offers extension classes and summer camp programs for children who want to continue learning and having fun during the summer months. Our extension classes include art, music, and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) activities. Our summer camp program is designed to provide a safe and fun environment for children to explore, learn, and make new friends.

Why Preschool?

Preschool is an essential step in your child's education. It provides a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, develop, and grow with other children their age. Preschool activities help stimulate physical skills as children develop motor skills and muscle growth. Preschool also promotes language development, talking to peers and teachers, telling stories, and learning to express ideas.

At Eastminster Preschool, we believe that preschool sets the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. We introduce basic counting, letter recognition, rhythm, and science skills that children will use for years to come. Our program is designed to meet the developmental needs of each child, and we strive to create a love of learning that will last a lifetime.
