Technical Issues and Communication Problems
Several reviewers expressed frustration with the technical issues and poor communication they experienced with AvantLink. Michael DeTroia was the only reviewer who had a positive experience, giving the platform 5 stars and describing it as "the best affiliate platform out there" with "excellent tech and customer service." However, other reviewers had very different experiences.
Nelson Miller was shocked by the unprofessional communication he received during the application process. He was initially told that his link was the wrong type, and when he asked for a human response, the representative explained that it was just a wrong YouTube channel link. Miller expressed disappointment and was told that the platform reserves the right to approve or deny applications for any reason. However, he was not satisfied with the explanation and felt that he was being lied to.
Brian Harrell had a similar experience, with the platform asking for proprietary information and then canceling his application after he refused to provide it. He described the experience as "very disappointing and unprofessional" and will not work with the company again.
Vendor Issues and Unpaid Invoices
Steve Ackerman had an issue with a vendor not recording a verified purchase, and when he reported the problem to AvantLink, he was met with complete silence. He is considering removing all AvantLink ads from his blog until the issue is resolved. Rohin Bansal also had issues with unpaid invoices, which he reported twice but had no resolution.
