Our Story
Located in the heart of Historic Roswell, our studio is nestled in a beautiful Victorian-style house, surrounded by breathtaking gardens. Our story began in 1985, when Carolyn Whitmore founded the studio, and her daughter, Susan, joined the business, bringing her own unique perspective and artistic vision. With a degree in Art and Art History, Susan's passion for photography is evident in every portrait she creates. Her artistic eye, combined with her experience in the design industry, enables her to capture the essence of her subjects, whether it's a family of 12, a newborn infant, or a graduating senior.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of portrait photography services, including family portraits, child portraits, senior portraits, maternity and newborn portraits, teens and tweens portraits, fine art black and white photography, bridal portraits, and pet portraits. The Process
Our portrait process begins with a pre-shoot consultation, where we discuss and agree upon the mood and background of the portrait. We consider the clothing, setting, and where the portrait will be displayed in your home. Each portrait is carefully thought out, taking the personality of the subjects into consideration. Our sessions can be done on-location, in-studio, or in the gardens of our renowned President's House.
