Welcome to Heartland Veterinary Clinic, a full-service veterinary clinic serving the greater Morton area for over forty years. Our clinic was founded by Dr. Duane Huwe, who dedicated his professional life to providing quality, competent, and compassionate care to pets. After Dr. Huwe's passing, Dr. Michael Sanborn and his wife, Alexandra, purchased the clinic and renamed it Heartland Veterinary Clinic to better reflect the area it serves. Dr. Sanborn, having worked as Dr. Huwe's relief veterinarian for four years, was uniquely qualified to carry on the clinic's tradition.

We provide a full range of veterinary services, including preventative care, surgical care, and emergency services. Our preventative care services include comprehensive physical examinations, nutritional recommendations, flea and tick treatments, heartworm preventative medication, intestinal parasite screening and control, vaccination schedules, and specialized blood tests. We also have a well-stocked in-house pharmacy offering both prescription and over-the-counter products for your convenience. Our surgical care services include spay/neuter procedures, biopsies, orthopedic surgery, and emergency surgery, all performed with your pet's safety and comfort as our top priority.
