Our story began in 1946 when George J. and Dorothy J. Treutelaar founded the company on the northwest side of Chicago. They lived above the shop, investing their time and resources into the business, which allowed us to work on some of the most significant construction projects in the Midwest. Over the years, we have had the privilege of working on notable projects such as McCormick Place, Sears Tower, and Navy Pier, among many others.
