Empowering children and families through early childhood education
Since its inception in 1995, PreSchool Partners has been committed to providing high-quality early childhood education and family support services to under-resourced communities. As a nonprofit organization, we believe that every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their economic background. Our mission is to empower families and communities by providing a nurturing environment that fosters educational growth, social-emotional development, and parental engagement.
Our Programs
At PreSchool Partners, we understand the significance of the early years in shaping a child's future. Our programs are designed to support the educational needs of children aged two to four years old, while also providing comprehensive support to their families. Our curriculum is based on research and best practices, incorporating creative learning experiences that promote cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development.
Our programs are built around a whole-child approach, focusing on developing the following skills:
- Acquiring basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Building social-emotional skills through play-based learning
- Developing gross and fine motor skills through creative activities
- Encouraging active participation and community engagement
Children's Program
Our children's program is designed to prepare students for school readiness and beyond. We provide a structured school year, with weekly classes for parents, covering topics such as:
- School readiness and literacy
- Social-emotional skills and character development
- Nutrition and wellness
- Parenting and life skills
Parent's Program
Our parent's program is a unique aspect of our approach, recognizing that parental involvement is crucial to a child's educational progress. We provide ongoing training and support to parents, empowering them to become engaged and active participants in their child's education. Our parent's program covers topics such as:
- Age-appropriate expectations and child development
- Nutrition and wellness
- Conscious discipline and parenting skills
- Financial literacy and life skills
Families Reading Together
Another cornerstone of our approach is the "Families Reading Together" program, where parents receive a storybook every week to build a home library. This program encourages parents to regularly set aside time to engage with their child in reading and literacy activities.
