Our History

Bosphorus Cafe Grill was founded by partners Ali Torun and Executive Chef Abdurrahman "Apo" Cecen in July 2014. Since then, we have been serving the heart of Port Washington, New York with the best of Turkish cuisine. We have been recognized for our exceptional food, including our signature appetizers and entrees, as well as our desserts, like the Kunefe, which was named one of the "10 Best Desserts on Long Island" by Newsday in 2014. In 2015, we were named one of the "100 Best Restaurants on Long Island" by Newsday.
