Our History

The story of Nest Architecture begins with a simple yet powerful inspiration - the metaphor of a nest. For Principal Scott Parker, the nest symbolizes the perfect space: a place of simplicity, complexity, and unwavering comfort. Drawn to architecture from an early age, Scott's journey culminated in a professional degree from the Boston Architectural Center. After honing his skills at renowned design firms, he returned to his Denver roots, establishing Nest Architecture in 2002. Since then, the firm has grown, attracting talented and passionate individuals who share the same dedication to creating exceptional residential spaces.

Our Team

The Nest Architecture team is comprised of a group of seasoned professionals with diverse backgrounds and shared expertise. Scott Hamman, AIA, LEED AP, joined the Nest team in 2008. His upbringing in Denver, coupled with his Masters of Architecture from the University of Colorado, provides him with a deep understanding of the region's architectural DNA. Andrew Dillon, another Project Captain, brings a hands-on approach to the design process, having gained valuable experience working with his father's construction company in Jackson Hole. Rounding out the team, Laura Parsons, LEED AP, brings a passion for residential design and a wealth of experience working with clients to create spaces that enhance family life. Laura's background in communication ensures that every project is approached with clarity and effective collaboration.
