The Fort Restaurant

Our original adobe structure was built in 1963 and is a replica of the historic Bent's Old Fort, an important trading post on the Santa Fe Trail in the 1830s.

Our History

Sam'l P. Arnold, the founder of The Fort, was a true pioneer who envisioned creating a restaurant that would honor the heritage and culture of the American West. His passion for history and gourmet food led him to open The Fort, which has since become a beloved institution in Colorado.
