That's why we have designed our center with families in mind, offering flexible scheduling options, a child-based, project-centered curriculum, and age-appropriate classroom and playground equipment. Our programs are tailored to meet the unique needs of each child, preparing them for the public school standards while fostering a love of learning and play.

Our leadership team, Dr. Erika Hunt and Andrew Hunt, envisioned a meticulously-designed, loving, educational, and flexible care environment when creating the vision for Scribbles. After much best practice research, personal experience, and professional guidance, Scribbles Center For Learning, Inc. opened its doors to the community in January of 2008. Dr. Erika and Andrew are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and education to all children in our care, and are actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the center.

Our Programs

We offer a range of programs to meet the needs of families in our community. For infants and toddlers, we offer full-time childcare at our center located on the eastside of Bloomington. Our after-school program provides care for elementary students on-site at the center as well as select partner schools in Unit 5. We also offer school age camps for elementary students during summer, winter break, and school day off.

Our curriculum is designed to foster a love of learning and play, with a strong focus on preparing children for the public school standards. We utilize a child-based, project-centered approach, allowing children to explore and learn at their own pace. Our classrooms are equipped with age-appropriate toys and materials, and our playgrounds provide ample opportunities for outdoor play and exploration.

Our leadership team includes Dr. Erika Hunt and Andrew Hunt, as well as our Directors of Programming and School Age. Our Directors bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to their roles, and are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and education to all children in our care.
