Carpenter's Fine Woodworking is a family-owned custom cabinet shop located in Vista, California. With over 35 years of woodworking experience, the Carpenters truly have the knowledge, skills, and software to design, create, and install your project from start to finish. We work with homeowners, interior designers, architects, and contractors on remodels as well as new construction. We specialize in custom kitchen and bath cabinets, closets, built-ins, entertainment centers, and garage cabinets. Additionally, we offer CNC machining services for cabinet panels, parts cutting, product development, engraving, and manufacturing.

Our Team

Carl Carpenter, the shop's founder, owner, and operator, was born and raised in Michigan and has lived in California since his early twenties. Carl enjoys a great reputation among his industry peers for creativity, uncompromising attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Carl's wife, Lena, joined the company full-time in 2002 and now manages the office and marketing department. Both their sons, Beau and Shane, have also been involved in the business, with Beau starting his own business, Carpenter's Wood Co, and Shane working for his father-in-law's flooring company in Colorado.

We can work with you to design and build cabinets and furniture to complement your space, including kitchen and bathroom cabinets, offices, closets, bookcases, entertainment centers, built-ins, and garage cabinets.
