Our History

Our story began in 1968 when Clarence E. Carter, Sr. and his wife Alruth Carter founded Carter Funeral Homes, Inc. with a dream to provide excellent funeral services to the community. Over the years, their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence have grown the business into a reputable and trusted funeral home. After Mr. Carter's passing, his son Dennis W. Carter took over as the Chief Executive Officer, continuing the family tradition of excellence and ensuring that the business remains true to its founding values.
