Work Hours and Location

We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. After-hours service is available by appointment. Our facility is located at 274 S. 5000 W. Road, Kankakee, IL 60901. You can reach us at (815) 933-2632.

Collision Repair Claims

We recommend that customers always get a police report, as all insurance companies will require this form to investigate their claims. If you want us to repair your car, we will simplify your claim process. Make arrangements to drop off your car, and we will work with the insurance company. We never add charges above the needed repair requirements. In Illinois, you only need one estimate from the shop of your choice. We also offer deductible financing.

Vehicle Teardown

At Cheffer's Autobody, the disassembly, parts handling, and reassembly are all performed by the same technician. This makes the repair process efficient and allows us to provide better service and quality on a consistent basis. Our goal is to help get your car repaired as painlessly as possible.

Frame & Unibody Repairs

We are equipped with a mobile bench for unibody straightening, a full frame tie-down, and 3-dimensional measuring capabilities. This ensures that all frame and unibody repairs are done to the highest standards.
