In the late 1980s, Cave Spring witnessed the opening of Cave Spring Memorial Chapel, a funeral home dedicated to serving the local community. In 2000, it was renamed Cole Funeral Home, but sadly, it closed its doors in 2001. Recognizing the need for a reliable and compassionate funeral service in the area, I was approached by several community members who encouraged me to reopen the funeral home. John House's Cave Spring Chapel Funeral Home opened its doors in 2002, and quickly became known for its personalized approach and affordability.
