Motor City Electric Co. is an ESOP (employee-owned) company established in the state of Michigan in 1952. We continue to find success in advanced technologies, while constantly expanding the scope of our capabilities. Our broad service base encompasses a wide range of industries served by our various specialized divisions. Each division is committed to the MCE standards of excellence in performance and service that our customers have come to expect. Our operations have grown to serve a wide audience of customers and their electrical needs from basic electrical wiring to comprehensive design/build, design/assist, and pre-construction management.

We offer a range of services such as commercial electrical installations, industrial and manufacturing solutions, utilities management, technology and automation services, and government and municipal projects. We also provide storm repair and service restoration services.

Some of our notable projects include MDOT Highway Pump Stations, Severstal Plant Modernization, Storm Repair and Service Restoration, TAP Sports Bar at MGM Grand Detroit, Incinerator Sludge Feed Systems Facilities Renovation, Cannelton Hydroelectric, Lake Huron Water Treatment Plant, DTE Energy Temple Substation, Amazon Romulus, Summer Haven Wind Energy Park, GM Arlington Assembly Plant, and St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital.
