Our company has been successfully operating under the name of Copeland Brother's Electric since 1986 and have recently transitioned to McKamey Electric. We are built on the foundation of honesty, respect, and safety, and we strive to offer the highest quality performance no matter the size of the job.

Our team is composed of experienced and skilled professionals who are dedicated to providing excellent electrical services. Our office staff includes Kevin McKamey, the President; Gary Light, the Vice President; Keith Copeland, the Service Manager; Bruce Hartmann, the Project Manager/Estimator; Jennifer Rutherford, the Office Manager; and Samantha McKamey, the Administrative Assistant. Together, we work effectively and efficiently to be the most dependable, competitive, and trusted electrical contractor in the state of Tennessee.

Services

At McKamey Electric, we offer a comprehensive range of electrical services to meet the diverse needs of our clients. We provide 24/7 emergency services to ensure that our clients' electrical systems are always up and running. We also offer interior and exterior lighting maintenance, as well as electrical equipment installation. Our team is experienced in troubleshooting and repairing any electrical issues, no matter how complex they may be.

In addition to our residential services, we also offer industrial electrical services such as equipment installation and relocation, as well as preventative maintenance. We specialize in commercial electrical services for office buildings, warehouses, and facilities upgrades/expansions. Our team can also handle lighting upgrades for any type of commercial space.

Safety

At McKamey Electric, safety is our top priority. We are passionate about safety and training, and we ensure that all our employees are up-to-date with the latest safety regulations and practices. We use our "Start with Safety" program to keep our employees aware of their surroundings on the job site, and we maintain a low EMR rating that allows us to work with safety-focused facilities, plants, and projects.

Our safety manual was developed in collaboration with a safety company to ensure that we meet OSHA regulations, medical regulations, and safety training requirements. We are committed to keeping our employees safe and providing excellent electrical services to our clients.

Projects

We have extensive experience working on various electrical projects for different industries. Some of our recent projects include a manufacturing addition location in Knoxville, TN; a UPF-PSF building project in Oak Ridge, TN; a 480Vac RPDS and 1500Vdc Bus System project in Knoxville, TN; a telecom, wireless devices, and cameras project in Rockford, TN; and a 1500kva XFMR / 2000A SWBD upgrade project in Clinton, TN. We have also worked on a Project Falcon in Clinton, TN, and we are always ready to take on new and exciting projects.
