Our company was founded by Erica Floyd, P.E., a native of Pensacola, Florida, who studied Communications at the University of West Florida before moving to Mobile, Alabama to attend the University of South Alabama. Erica graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and has a background in Transportation and Site Design. Prior to starting GCE, Erica worked for successful engineering companies such as Thompson Engineering and Baskerville-Donovan, Inc. She has experience working with the technical design criteria of our military, specifically UFC and AFM technical documents.
