Who We Are

The Oakland County Child Care Council is a trusted local resource that has been advocating and promoting quality child care since 1973. As a membership agency, we are governed by a board of directors and managed by a professional staff. Our mission is to coordinate and develop quality child care and related resources for families and caregivers.

Our Services

We provide resources and referral information for families, conduct skill-building workshops for parents, and hold low-cost professional development classes for child care providers. We also work with businesses to find child care solutions for their employees and advocate on child care issues for the community. Our goal is to promote the well-being of Oakland County's children and provide quality child care services in the community.
