Design Process

3. Design Planning: Our team of designers collaborates with you to create unique and beautiful kitchen and bathroom cabinetry plans that meet your needs and budget. We use advanced color theory and design principles to create a cohesive and functional space.

4. Revisions and Ordering: We review the designs with you and make any necessary revisions. Once you are satisfied with the final design, we order the materials and schedule the installation.

5. Project Coordination: Our project coordinator communicates with you regarding elements of the project timeline, scheduling deliveries, appointments, installations, and resolving any project issues that arise.

• Ogi Guzina, Founder: Ogi founded AKB Chicago with the dream of providing a showroom where clients could gain advice on cabinetry options and be guided through the design process from start to finish.
• Marnie Knouse, Designer: Marnie is a talented designer who brings unique solutions for functionality and layout design, as well as color palettes, to each project.
• Maja Guzina, Retail Director: Maja brings retail directing experience through her selection of kitchen and bath products in our bath retail shop. She specializes in the functionality and design of products offered through many brands.
• Kara Glennie, Project Coordinator: Kara communicates with clients regarding elements of the project timeline, scheduling deliveries, appointments, installations, and resolving any project issues that arise.
