Studio MK is a premier salon located in the heart of downtown Elkins, West Virginia. The salon was founded by Melinda Kota, a WV native, wife, and mother of two, who wanted to create a relaxing and enjoyable environment for both stylists and clients. Studio MK is dedicated to providing the highest quality of services and is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the industry.

We are dedicated to continuing education, which allows us to provide each client with a tailored style that caters to their needs and lifestyle. Our Services

At Studio MK, we pride ourselves on providing a wide range of services to meet the needs of all of our clients. Here are some of the services we offer:

*Cuts and Styles:* Our stylists are trained to provide the best cuts and styles for both men and women. We offer a variety of specialty styles as well, including updos and braids. Each guest receives a complimentary shampoo blowout with each service.

*Color and Foils:* Whether you're looking for a full single process, root touch-up, or balayage, Studio MK has you covered. We use only the highest quality products to ensure that your color lasts and looks great.

*Facials:* Studio MK offers a variety of facials, including hydra medic for problem skin, four-layer facials for dry skin, invigorating and lifting facials for mature skin, and bio light and brightening facials.

*Permanent Makeup:* Our permanent makeup artist, Seana, is extremely precise and consistent in creating the perfect look. Whether it be lips, eyeliner, or brows, Seana has the creative capabilities to make you look and feel your best.

Meet the Team

Melinda Kota, Owner/Esthetician/Master Stylist, is a WV native, wife, and mother of two. With a passion for cutting and coloring, Melinda enjoys getting to know each guest and creating styles that work for them. She believes education is the foundation to a good stylist and is an independent educator.

Nicole Lasky, Master Stylist/Esthetician/Novalash Artist, grew up in L.A. and spent several years in Las Vegas before bringing her love of the industry to WV. Nicole enjoys creating unique styles and making others feel better about themselves.

Seana Lasky Marshall, Permanent Makeup Artist, is from Belington, WV, and is known for her custom microblading. Seana has a passion for creating the perfect look for each client.

*Prices and Policies*

Our prices are baseline and may vary depending on the time and products used. We respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for haircut cancellations and 48 hours for color. A fee may be charged for no-show or no-call appointments.
